and yes, i totally put dry erase label tape on a roll in the public domain over a year ago, so let it go. you could probably patent it but it wouldn't hold up to a challenge in a court of law with documentation.

Mhm, I invented the "smoke alarm with hush button" years before they were on the market, but never had the resources to actually make one or patent the idea, so it just sat in my mind until someone else did it...
